Position: Director of Marketing and Business Development
Industry: Full Service Investigative Company specializing in Insurance Fraud
Position Responsibilities
Direct firm’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs, and corporate communications. Facilitate business development through marketing and case management.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Support and facilitate annual marketing plan for the firm, actively pursuing past, current and prospective client base.
2. Manage the Southeast coverage territory, including but not limited to, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and South Carolina. Position requires 40% travel (bi-weekly).
3. Manage client relations including:
· Attend Association functions
· Support client case management system
· client training awareness/”fraud” training
· special events, conferences, presentations and manage promotional items
4. Manage firm’s RFP process including soliciting RFPs from desirable prospective clients and writing proposals for new business; participate in planning and presentation sessions, when assigned.
5. Oversee business development activities including:
· assisting management in strategic planning for client presentations
· attend prospective client meetings, presentations, etc.
· follow protocols for prospective client marketing procedures and case management procedures
· Meet necessary goals/deadlines for annual growth
6. Support including:
· external communications and systems
· internal communications and systems: documentation, tracking, coordinating with case managers
· electronic communications: website, newsletter, emails, hard copy materials/brochures, etc.
7. Maintain marketing database which includes client and prospect information.
Employment Standards
Education: College degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred. Proven marketing experience will be considered from a results-oriented/driven individual in lieu of or in combination with a degree.
Experience: At least five years in marketing role within professional services environment. Strong leadership, marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.
Required Skills: Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well in a structured environment with a team-oriented approach. Polished presentation, written, verbal, interpersonal and facilitation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
Special Skills: Background in insurance, investigative or service-based marketing. Insurance claims process is a plus.

POSITION TITLE: Marketing & Communications Intern
REPORTS TO: Marketing and Events Coordinator ABOUT DOWNTOWN VISION, INC. (DVI): Downtown Vision, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization who mission is to build a vibrant and healthy downtown and to promote downtown as an exciting place to live, work, and play. Downtown Vision, Inc. was formed in 2000 at the request of downtown property owners to provide enhanced services within the Downtown Improvement District.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The marketing/communications intern will be responsible for the valuable support functions of the marketing/communications department. He/she will maintain a time sheet and a log of projects and activities. The preparation of initial drafts of required paperwork for school reporting is his/her responsibility.
SPECIFIC DUTIES (subject to change):
1. Make calls to update database information
2. Assist with Art Walk paperwork for artist registration
3. Conduct media scans and maintain clip binder and clip report
4. Data Entry
5. Research website directory listings and event calendar listings
6. Facilitate collateral distribution and restocking
7. Take photos for the website
8. Copy and collate materials for mailings
9. Prepare new retailer packages
10. Track stats and conduct surveys for events
11. Assist with collateral requests
12. Provide status updates on projects and activities
13. Participate in staff meetings and marketing team meetings
14. Additional projects and responsibilities assigned based on intern capabilities and desire.
EVENT SUPPORT: First Wednesday Art Walk, Hemming Plaza Market, Movies in the Park, and additional events (tbd). HOURS: The unpaid internship may be full or part time.
ENVIRONMENT & QUALIFICATIONS: DVI maintains a professional office environment. Candidates must have the solid oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, stakeholders, and the downtown community. He/she must have good time management skills and be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Excel. He/she must also be able to work collaboratively as a team and be a self-starter. Marketing Operations Specialist
Paul Davis Restoration, Inc., a national franchise organization and leading provider of insurance property restoration and remodeling services, seeks an experienced marketing communications professional for the position of Marketing Operations Specialist for their Jacksonville, Florida headquarters. In this position, the chosen candidate will provide marketing support for both the franchisor marketing department and the strategic marketing committee (SMC). Duties include assisting the Chairman of the SMC in coordinating marketing projects, meeting planning and recording meeting minutes. The position is also responsible for providing support to the Paul Davis franchise network regarding marketing collateral, advertising, communications, websites, direct marketing and trade shows. Candidate is responsible for writing content for and updating the national website and intranet.
